We took a quick trip to the UK to cover a few internationally renowned car events which included Chatsworth House for the annual Porsche GB Club Porsche Pageant.
The sun was out for the day as we strolled through the rows of proudly parked Porsche’s from all era’s lining the green hill in front of the house, simply a magnificent sight. It was a real family event with picnic blankets and baskets, children running around with ice creams...a typical English event and day.
The 996’s have started making an impact within the Porsche scene with some really clean examples on display. Its Great to see this once unpopular model 911 making an impact. The owners were keen to talk about their cars and we had a great time talking 356’s, 914’s and discussing the gold paint on the old 911’s.
Our picks of the event were the Outlaw 356 and the 2 early gold 911’s which were all beautiful.
A special mention goes out to to our driver for the day who apparently never gets lost...never;) It was truly amazing how we missed the 6ft sign and massive house the first time which the driver put down to a significant failing in the navigation skills of the passenger……
