Flat 12, Autodrome

We dragged Giggy the Supervisor out of bed early to hang with the Flat 12 Crew at the Autodome. A special thanks from Giggy to the guys in the food truck for the roast beef breakfast!

As usual a great mix of old and new. There is nothing better than catching up with friends on a Friday morning in Dubai, enjoying a coffee and having a chat.

We've recently noticed a lot more Morgan’s in Dubai and on display at car shows and today was no exception.

Stand-outs at the show were the Cadillac with more modification than we could count.  A couple of really nice 912’s and a sweet 1972 911T.  Obviously in Dubai it’s also great to see a Ford GT surrounded by other magnificent Super Cars.

Special mentions go to the 4.2 E-type Jaguar that was very original (read needs loads of work) actually marked its territory at the show more than the VW’s.  If you have it drive it.

Also a big cheers for the Dubai Air-cooled crew. A great bunch of lads that normally turn up to the opening of an envelope and no one needed a push to leave after the show, big thumbs up!

Classic Cars & Coffee, Feb 2018

We rode shotgun for this one in a Warwick Yellow ’68 HKGTS 307 Monaro to catch Cars and Coffee.

With more allocated spaces there was so much more rolling art to enjoy under Perth’s perfect summer sky.

The car of the show for us was the 1957 Facel Vega in gleaming silver and a contrasting red interior. With its French styling and American heartbeat courtesy of Desoto/Chrysler Hemi, it is inspiringly beautiful from every angle with style and class that is hard to beat.

Another fantastic morning and a shout out to the organisers once again for putting it on for us car nuts.

Motorvation 32, Western Australia

Motorvation 32 was everything it claimed to be and more. Falling on the Australia Day long w’end we were invited to display the ØG356 as part of Forged Magazine and it was a blast.

The Elite Pavilion housed some of Perth’s best rides including XBOSS, the mind blowing Falcon Coupe and FOX1, the Challenger proudly displayed by Jason and Dom. The die hards had a designated camping area and the days were filled with cruising, running down the track with tyres ablaze and burnouts in the pit area.

The show wrapped up on Sunday and we cruised through Fremantle and our beautiful coastline with 98, Ang and the kids and Kim to bring a great w’end to an end.

There really can’t be a better place than W.A! Happy Australia Day

Bikers Cafe, Dubai

An evening of cars and great food was planned for the last Saturday of 2017 organised by Bikers Cafe.

Upon arrival at Dubai Studio City we were greeted by a spectacular array of machines but among them were 2 spectacular Ferrari’s. The F40 and F50 needed no introduction as they pulled up and parked side by side. With all these fantastic cars around it prompted us to add a few to our 2018 "wish list"

After a impromptu car show the group cruised through Dubai to Bikers Cafe.

It’s always an experience driving the Targa with the roof off, surrounded by the engine note from American classics and European Supercars through the streets of Dubai.

As we arrived at our final destination we were greeted with smiles and waves, steaks and prawns.

What a way to end an evening and thank you Bikers Cafe for your hospitality.

Classic Cars & Coffee, Nedlands W.A

The final wrap up for 2017 Classic Cars & Coffee was great! With a little over 500 rides filling the UWA grounds it was a show not to be missed as the 1300 people will attest to.

The car community that morning also helped raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation while enjoying some of the finest automobiles Perth has to offer. We caught up with a few car buddy’s for a chin wag and coffee and then cruised home with Brad and his 58 ‘vette which only added to what was already a super sunday morning.

A big shout out must go to Deryck Graham & Paul Blank(and team) for putting on a great event for all of us to enjoy. We’re looking forward to 2018!
